My heartfelt greetings to you all and I wish you and your families a very happy and prosperous new year, 2024. Beloved in Christ, I stand before you once again to offer a brief review of the year just gone by, and seek to highlight some of the major plans for the 2024 year. This is the 3rd Year of our administration and while I thank you for your immense support throughout the past three years I take the opportunity to remind you all that there will be an election in December 2024 to elect new Leadership and Councilors.
In our Catholic Christian living we have endeavored to live our lives as a living testimony for Christ. As human as we are during the year we visited our friends and parishioners who were sick, bereaved, or in one hardship/distress or another. As Christ would like us to do, we also rejoiced and celebrated with those who had the need to celebrate.
Going into 2024 we should continue to let our lives, our actions, our talks, our behavior speak for us to portray who we are. It doesn’t matter how much tongues we speak or quotes of the bible we can cite: if we have the angel tongues and can sing, but we do not have love for our neighbor we are nothing but likened to a cymbal making noise. This is our Christian calling! To be true followers of Christ is to love our neighbors daily! No matter how many times the teeth bite the tongue, they still stay in one mouth. That’s the spirit of FORGIVENESS Even though the eyes don’t see each other, they see things together, blink simultaneously and cry together, That’s UNITY. May we practice the spirit of forgiveness and togetherness.
